As a footnote to all buyers: Do not buy bargain birds; buy birds from established breeders, not fly-by-nights. Buy from a breeder that will be there for you when you need their help and advice. Remember that raising a baby bird is like bringing home an infant. It requires the same commitment as raising a human baby. It also requires dependable support from the baby bird's breeder. The breeder must be there for you with help and advice as the baby gets bigger and ready to wean. If you cannot count on the breeder - DO NOT BUY! Find the right breeder, the one that will assist you along the way. NEVER impulse buy - buying a baby bird is a lifetime commitment.
